This email came from a recent visitor:

"My name is Charlotte and I love to cook but I don't have a gourmet cooking schedule so I dab a little at
home with the time I have.  I always say if you have a favorite ingredient, try it in everything it just might work.
Here is one I concocted that works big time for me

ITALIAN STEAK

INGREDIENTS
1 lb. cubed sirloin steak
flour
oil
water
salt/pepper
1 can stewed tomatoes
garlic salt to taste
Romano cheese (MY FAVORITE)

INSTRUCTIONS
In a small bowl or plate add about 1/2 cup flour,
1/8 tsp. salt and pepper and the same on garlic salt.
Mix together and add steak piece by piece and brown
on both sides in a little oil.  Remove from heat and drain on paper towel.  With the leftover oil, add about
3 tbs. flour and stir until lightly golden and then add
about 4 cups water.  (A basic brown gravy recipe.)
Stir constantly and then add tomatoe and simmer.
After a few minutes, add meat and shake in the
Romano cheese (my favorite) until you just can't stop
shaking.  You may want to taste it.
  (Remember after a
few minutes it will thicken big time.  So not too too
much.  If it gets too thick, you can always add a little
water and simmer. )
Simmer this until slightly thickened
and serve with steamed rice or noodles.  It's mmmmgood.  Let me know if you like it.
