This recipe courtesy of Girls High '53
(Get a head start on your holiday
             baking.  This rainy summer is
great for a little kitchen time!)

PUMPKIN BREAD

350 DEGREES     1 HOUR

4 eggs                                                    3 1/2 c. flour
2/3 c. water                                            3 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil                                   2 tsp. baking soda
1 can pumpkin pie filling (One Pie)      1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup raisins, dusted with flour
1 tsp. ea cinnamon, nutmeg
and ground cloves

Nuts optional.  I use chopped walnuts or  pecans.
Beat eggs; stir in water, oil and pie filling. Add all of the dry ingredients and mix well.

Pour mixture into well-greased and floured loaf pans, and bake at 350 for 1 hour.

This recipe makes a combination of 2 large loaves and 1 small loaf or 6 small loaves. Can also be baked using two (2) regular size coffee cans and  1 or 2 small (mini) loaf pans..

Freezes well!!!!
